The Joy of the Lord is our strength! To the whole family, my family, we love you and will always cherish the memories of Mother Brown. We will miss Mother Brown, she was lady amongst ladies. A viruous and loving woman of God, who always had a smile to give you, no matter what she was going through. I will always remember all the Minister & Elder's wives meetings that she had at her house, what hospitality, pose, grace and annointing did she teach us with. Wow, I will never forget her.

My heart is heavy and yet so sad for the lost of Missy. Our families and our friendship goes back many years, even before some of our children & before any of our grand or great grandchildren were born. I think of how we sang & directed the choirs at the old Emmanuel Temple under the late Bishop R. E. Altheimer. I remember our trips to Canada and how you took my late wife & I to to the Seattle World's Fair in 1962, just before it closed down. I will truly miss you! Bro Supt, you know you are in our prayers as well as the rest of the family. The Whitehead Family loves you all & there's nothing you can do about it!

Mom Brown Never would have made it, you helped me and my family so much so many private things that were shared between us , because of you I kept going so many times when I wanted to give up, but you would speak a word that would make me say ok I can make it. Barbara, I will always admired your wholesome attitude and presentation. You have always been a friend to me. When I saw you in Los Angeles, you still had that genuine smile. You so happily shared your testimony of deliverance and inputed much needed strength in me. You had open arms to everyone especially to my mother as she visited the Puget Sound District. You are an awesome Women of God and you will be missed.
Debbie, be encouraged and continued to wage war against the devil. I am so godly proud of you and your strength. I love you and I am glad to know that our friendship has grown stronger through the years.

You fought a GOOD Fight you Kept the Faith and you endured until the END, what a Glorious testimony. I have known you as a spirtual Leader since 1992 when I forst moved to Tacoma stationed at Fort Lewis Washington. You will be missed and you have been a true epitimy of Holliness. Your walk was Godly, Your smile was genuine and radiant and your eyes showed compassion. I Thank God for the love and teaching you gave to my first Lady of my very first church in Washington Missionary Jones, she is definitely an apple who didn't fall far from the tree, she has that same beauty inside that you radiated. I will always keep your love tenderly tucked away in my memories, and I will show the love to God's people and the unbelievers as you did. You are truly a " FIRST LADY " that is to be modeled after. You never acted snobby and you always showed pure love to all those that came in contact with you. ALL first ladies could learn alot from your lifestyle. Love you and miss you. Now Supt. Brown, I know your heart is heavy and you will miss your darling, your love, your wife.. But stay strong and keep working in the vineyard and keep the faith and continue to do what you have been doing and their will be a crown of Glory layed up in Heaven for you and you will then in your time be with that precious wife again.... Mother Brown was and remains for me an example of a Perfect Wife, Mother and Grandmother. I loved to see the light in her eyes when she looked at her Husband...She had so much Love for Supt. Brown, you could feel it across the room. What a loving Mother and Grandmother, she Loved so deeply. She also showed me how a saint should endure hardship and she praised God through her pain. She continues to encourage my faith and for that, I am forever grateful. I am sure there were days when she did not smile...but I never saw them. I love you Mother Brown and I Thank You for Living a Life that I can aspire to be. My prayer is that your family know that You were and are Loved! To Supt. I first came to the Pacific Northwest in 1977. I worked as an auditor for IRS in downtown Tacoma and I was priviledged to audit the tax return of Missionary Brown. At that time, I didn't know who she was. From the moment she sat down opposite me, I could see and feel God all over her. She asked me how long I had been in Tacoma and I told her I had just moved here. She talked to me for about 20 mins. and as she left, she put her hand on mine and told me to keep my hand in God's hand. She left my desk having ministered to me more than she ever knew. I'll never forget that.
