October 8, 1983 -- June 7, 2010 Brett Joseph LaRose, of Perryville, MO, 26, died on June 7, 2010, at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA following major injuries suffered from a tragic motorcycle accident. Brett lived with his beloved fiancée, Stacie Collier, in Spanaway, WA. Brett was an employee of the O'Reilly Auto Parts Company, working in the distribution center in Puyallup, WA. On June 10th, O'Reilly's held a roadside memorial service at the scene of the accident on Mt. Rainier to honor his passion and love for the great outdoors. Brett was an honorable military veteran. He served with the U.S. Army, including one tour of duty in Iraq, where he received medals for courage and bravery, and a Purple Heart. Because of his generous forethought of being an organ donor, Brett's heart, liver, kidney, corneas, and tissues were donated to people awaiting life-saving transplants. His zeal and passion for life continues as his donations carry on in the lives of many others.
