Mason Family,
My heartfelt sympathy on the loss of Devon, far too soon. May God, family and friends support you through this time. I along with many will miss Devon's personality and his generous expressions of joy talking about his family and especially his children. Devon's face would light up with talk of a recent vacation or a trip from the past where his reflection of love for his family was very clear. I along with many will carry Devon's spirit with us.

It seems like ten thousand years ago since a band of little boys walked together to Midway Elementary school in Des Moines WA. screaming and yelling at the top of our lungs. Devin had the biggest smile (And voice)of all of us. I remember how he gave me a ride to MR high school in his Mazada. He was a very thoughtful person. God bless you and your family my friend.

Dear Mason Family, Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of Devin. This has to be one of the most diffcult times for all of you after just losing Terry and so soon after losing Devin at his time in all your lives. I have watched Chubs for Devin for years. I am sure that Chubs is missing him terribly. He was a wonderful man who embraced life. RIP

Diane, I can't imagine what you are going thru and don't want to. This is Jan (stockman) Schiemer, I also married my highschool sweethart,36yrs.I grew up with Devin also in DesMoines. I didn't keep in touch much, mostly thru our mom's visits. Devin and Lee are raising heck about now. I know you have lots of family and friends, but let me know if I can do anything. I won't be able to attend the service, but Devin will be happy to know I am with Joe hunting turkey's. My thoughts and tears are with you. Jan

Devin was a fun guy to hang out with from my memories of Mt. Rainier High School and college years in the Seattle area during the seventies and eighties. I remember he was a neighbor of my good friend Kristi Dickman Schmidt. Condolences to Diane and all the family.

We used to run into him all the time at Fred Meyer and even when he was in a hurry to get home or go somewhere he always took the time to talk to us. I have thought about Delores and the Mason family all week. I remember Devin as the adventurous little boy I babysat day in and day out at Delrose Manor as he was growing up. He had a twinkle in his eye, a devilish smile, and the need for speed even at that young age. My love goes out to the whole Hodgkin/Mason Family. Devin has always been special to me. Not many of us can leave this world doing something we are passionate about --he did.

We extend our family's sympathy to the entire "Mason" family. May God's grace offer you comfort through this loss. Husband, Father, Brother, Son, Uncle, and Friend, Devin passed away on a day the sun shone on our faces, eagles flew overhead, and he was doing what he loved, surrounded by family and friends.
