Fred W. Linton Sr.

FRED W. LINTON SR Fred was born March 25, 1921 in Portland, OR; passed away May 3, 2011 in Tacoma, WA at the age of 90. Fred taught in Puyallup schools for 16 years and substituted in the surrounding areas for 9 years. He also served as the District Scout Executive for the Boy Scouts. He was an active member of the Kiwanis Club and the Good Sam RV Club. He was the loving husband of Dorothy Linton for 56 years; father of F. Warren (Nancy) Linton JR of Tacoma, Barbara (Greg) Kruger of KS, and Beth (John) King of Roy, WA; grandfather of Thea (Lucas), John, Erin, Ashley (Ryan), Emma, and Sarah; great-grandfather of Lucas, Johnathen, and Joshua. Viewing will be Monday, May 9, 2011, 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Weeks Dryer Mortuary. A Memorial Service will be Tue. May 10, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Parkland United Methodist Church, 121st Street and A, Parkland, WA. Followed by a graveside service at Fir Lane Memorial Park and Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
