We were so saddened to hear of Freds passing. We always enjoyed visiting with Fred and Kay when they came to Yuma. We missed them this year. Our condolences to Kay.

When I was a child I would take walks with my Grandma Kay past Fred's house and once in a while we would stop to visit him. I was so surprised to watch my Grandmother with a school girl type crush going on and on about him. One day she had me take a basket of her homemade jam and biscuits to his house while she hid in the bushes across the street and watched me deliver it. The rest was history. They married a year later. Fred has been a wonderful husband to my Grandma and a valued part of the family. We have all thought very highly of him. He will be truly missed.
