I am so very saddened by Gracie's death. She was my great friend in Philadelphia in the 1970s - where she worked as a probation officer. She was indeed compassionate, humorous, insightful and wise. Full of life and a wonderful friend. Lovely Gracie.

It's wonderful to read this tribute to Grace. She is missed on a daily basis. I can't imagine how difficult it is for Regan, Molly & Patrick, as well as the grandchildren. May photos and memories such as this tribute help carry you through difficult times.

Grace lived up to her name - but she just as aptly could have been named Compassion, Patience, Intelligence, or Humor. Her passion for the work we do had a great impact on the many people that were lucky enough to share her presence. I love Grace and will miss her.

My thoughts and prayers are with Grace's daughters, and with Patrick, who introduced this kind, lovely woman into so many lives. She was the personification of her name.
