Jerry McArthur Obituary

Jerry Lee McArthur Born September 28, 1940; passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2011 in Surprise, AZ. He was a graduate of the University of Montana and a former resident of Kent, WA. Jerry served his country in the Army and went on to work in retail management and later for the United States Department of Treasury. He retired in 2001 and moved to Surprise, AZ in 2004. Jerry enjoyed gardening, golfing, and fishing, but most of all treasured time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Lorinda, two daughters, Coleen (Paul) Weglarz and Shelly (Mason) Wardell, grandchildren Emma Oosterman, Theryn Wardell, and Jack, Elizabeth, and Owen Weglarz;,and many other relatives and friends. Jerry was dearly loved and will be missed. A visitation and service will be held Friday, April 15, 2011 at Edline-Yahn & Covington Funeral Chapel (253-630-2736). Visitation is scheduled from 11am - 12pm, with the service immediately following at 12pm. Interment will take place at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.
