Judy was my favorite teacher. She was such a warm, caring and fun person. I was in her 6th grade class in 1976-1977. I have many wonderful memories of her. I know the names of the planets thanks to the song Mrs. Davis taught us and have taught it to my children as well. :) I remember her telling me we were doing our Christmas play because we will not remember doing page 57 in math, but we will always have fond memories of putting on our play. She also taught me "No happy time that passes is ever really gone, if it leaves a special memory for looking back upon." I am thankful for my special memories in Mrs. Davis's class.
My sincere sympathy to her family and friends.

Mrs. Davis was my 6th grade teacher at DeLong in 1978-79. My youngest son is in 6th grade now, and it has never been more clear to me how influential a wonderful teacher is for a young person; I *wish* he had a "Mrs. Davis" in his life. I still remember how pretty she was - I wished I could be just like her. One favorite memory is earning the privilege of going to Farrell's for ice cream with Mrs. Davis as a reward for spelling tests - my only disappointment was that my friend tied me for 1st place so I had to share the attention of my favorite teacher! What a fantastic teacher and wonderful role model.

Mrs.Davis was my 6th grade teacher at DeLong. She cared about each and every student! I was always a tom-boy growing up and I remember her trying so hard to turn me into a girly girl! "Krista, we've got to do something about your bangs!" What a wonderful lady and role model!

Mrs. Davis was my 6th grade teacher at DeLong. I don't think teachers realize what a lasting impact they make on their students. She was a lovely, positive person, and I will always remember her fondly.

My brother and myself had Ms. Davis when we went to Delong. She so caring, loving, passionate, and a fantastic teacher. I will always remember her telling me not to let my learning disability get in the way, I could do anything. I often visit her after leaving Delong and we crossed paths again when her mother was Tacoma Lutheran Home. Thanks Ms Davis for being there when i needed you in my education. You will be missed by many of your students.

Judith was one of my favorite teachers at Delong. She was so caring, loving, and fantastic teacher. I often went back and visit her often and saw her years later when her mother was at Tacoma Lutheran Home. I will always remember how she always told me I could do anything and not to let me learning disability get in the way. She took the time to explain things till I learned. Thanks Ms. Davis for being in life. You will be missed!

Mrs. Davis was my teacher at Delong. She was one of my favorites and at a young age "very easy on the eyes". She touched alot of students lives. May God be with her family during this difficult time.

Judy's smile radiated warmth and kindness and her eyes always twinkled. We met in Mrs. Bond's 2nd grade class at Mary Lyon and continued our friendship through Stewart, Lincoln and since. Her Christmas cards happily reflected her genuine caring spirit and warmth of friendhip. She signed this year's card

I attended Mary Lyon, Stewart and Lincoln High School with Judy. I never knew her to 'not' have that radiant smile on her face. She was one of those special people who was beautiful both inside and out. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Ruth ( Jowett ) Whitfeldt

I went to school with Judi at Stewart and Lincoln. We shared a biology class at Lincoln and that's really where our friendship began. I lost touch with her over the years but remember her fondly. She was a wonderful young girl when I knew her and I'm sure she grew to be a wonderful woman as well. My prayers are with her family and may God greet her with open arms.
