Lois Moorhead Obituary

Lois N. Moorhead Lois, beloved mother and grandmother, was received by her Lord and Savior on May 8, 2011. She was a Lady greatly loved and respected by her family. Lois Noreen Moorhead, daughter of William and Julia Kirkeide was born August 17, 1916 in Cromwell, Washington. She married Dale J. Moorhead on June 6, 1936. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1977. Lois is survived by their son Keith D. (Karen) Moorhead, daughter J. Caroline Requa, 4 grandchildren, Lori L. (Brian) Johnson, W. Dale (Diana) Requa, Todd Requa , and Andrew Requa (Tonya), 5 great-grandchildren, Nicolas, Natalie, Narissa Johnson, Katie and Chrissy Requa, and favorite nephew Joe (Janet) Downey. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Vivienne Downey and Avis Thornhill, and infant brother Keith Kirkeide. Fallen asleep in Christ. Raised in Glory. At her request a private graveside service was held on May 16th, 2011 at Mountain View Cemetery, Tacoma, WA. Family suggests memorials may be made to Central Lutheran Church, 409 N. Tacoma Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98403. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.funeralalternatives.org
