LORETTA THOMAS Obituary

Loretta Faith Thomas Born Loretta Faith Rife in Shelton, North Dakota March 27, 1925. Died January 24, 2011, She is survived by one brother, Eugene Rife, and her children David Thomas, Aleta F. Vineyard, and James R. Thomas. She has two grandsons, James David Vineyard and William Beazley, granddaughters Mariann March, Cindy Thomas, and Christy Snow, and great-granddaughters Emma D. Faith Ehresman, Haylee Snow, Baylee Snow, Autumn March, and Morgan March. She came to Seattle to work at Boeing to aid in the war effort as a riveter, and met and was married to Lloyd Thomas for 63 years till his death in 2009. We want to thank the staff at Cascade Park Vista assisted living for taking such good care, and want to also thank the many friends she made there for so enriching the later years of her life. Loretta's funeral will be on Saturday, Jan. 29th, 2011, at 1 o'clock, at Mountain View Funeral Home. Come and help us celebrate her farewell.

Every day I would ask Loretta how she was doing, and everyday would be the same answer " Well, I'm still in there kicking".

I always enjoyed Loretta's smile.I talked to her and Lloyd often at the Lighthouse Senior Center. Where she volunteered in the kitchen for many years.My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time.
