MARIAN CAGLE Obituary

Marian Jean Cagle Marian passed away peacefully on March 21, 2011 in University Place, WA. Marian was born August 9, 1922 in Chewelah, WA to Ira and Edna Carter. She was preceded in death by husband Ernest, sister Margaret McEachern, and brother Bill Carter. She is survived by sister Alice Carle, daughter Connie Watkins, son Daniel Cagle (Sharon), 6 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Marian lived her younger years in Spokane, WA, where she graduated from North Central HS. Marian served in the Navy during WWII. She graduated from the University of Washington with a master's degree in Library Science, and worked as a librarian for the City of Tampa until she retired. Marian had many interests, including travel, gardening, and reading. The family would like to thank the staff at University Place Care Center and Franciscan Hospice for the loving care she received. She will be greatly missed by her family. Services will be held at 2:00pm on April 2, 2011 in the Mountain View Garden Chapel.

To Dan, Sharon and family,
As you wrote to me recently when my mother passed on, "It's difficult to lose a parent. They have been with us from the beginning and I am sure she will be with you still." My thoughts are with you.
