MARVA STEWART Obituary

Marva Jean Stewart Born in Tacoma, WA on March 4, 1946 and passed peacefully in her sleep on January 13, 2011 at St. Anthony's Hospital Gig Harbor, WA. She was the daughter of William Moorer Sr. & Allie Marie Daniels and step-father Roy L. Simpson. Marva was preceded in death by her father, step-father and loving mother. Marva was a beloved wife and mother. She is survived by her husband John A. Stewart; daughter Kenya, Tyra and son Gregory; her brothers William Moorer, Undra Simpson and Giordano Simpson all of Tacoma, WA; grandchildren Hailey, Quincy, Jeanae; and 2 great grandchildren Olando and Olayjah; and a host of special friends and family. The wake will be January 21, 3-7pm at The Church Of The Living God, 1954 S. M St. in Tacoma, WA. Funeral Services & Re-pass will take place January 22 at 11am, Bethlehem Baptist Church, 4818 E. Portland Ave, Tacoma, WA. Temporary resting place will be New Tacoma Cemetery. Final destination the glorious heavens above where the streets are paved with goldE

I am so grateful that I had the oppurnity to be blessed by knowing Marva.She was a loving person and had a wonderful laugh. Her family was very important to her.
