Mrs. Boushey was a fantastic inspiration to me to embrace my inner chef. She was the lead teacher of our Food Education And Service Training class. Our students learned teamwork and how to suceed in challenges life delivers up to us. Mrs. B set the example of smiles winning over customers whose day was bad. Her caring attitude is still living in her students.

I met Norma back in the early 1960's when I was teaching at Sumner High School and then I met her husband Joe and we became friends. Then I got married to Peggy and the four of us started doing things together. WE had many good times with Norma, Joe and their family for many years both in Sumner and Grandview along with other places when we took trips together. Norma and Joe were wonderful people. One on the wonderful things about life are the friendships that you have and with Joe and Norma it was a number one.

I met Norma Jane 63yrs. ago when I was in the NAVY in Calif. We met a t a dancing ballroom and discovered we were from the same states--ND\SD and our Romantic Relationship blossomed. We dated frequently .Then the Navy dischargedme and I left this beautiful young lady to go back to ND. College was my plan and I went on to start classes at Dickinson State.Eventually Norma went to Seattle and our corresponding ceased and the next time I saw her in 1947 she was married! I still have the beautifupicture she gave me when I left her in1946. I went on to UNV. of DENVER for my Degrees and became a teacher also .I was hoping to at least visit with her on phone but told that wasn't possible.I was pleased to see that she was still that beautiful lady I once knew---From Don Langlee, Denver,Colorado [email protected]

I am very thankful for my relationship with Norma. I am a Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher at Sumner High School. Norma was an active member of our Advisory Committee until she could no longer serve due to health. I am thankful to Frank for bringing her to each of our meetings and waiting in the back until we were done sharing stories and talking about our curriculum. Her many years of service have made an impact the FCS programs for the Sumner School District. She will be greatly missed. Thank you Norma, God Bless.

Norma, she could do no wrong. Our family had such wonderfull time's in the company of all the Boushey's. Most of the time we were laughing, as all the Boushey's were so entertaining. Who ever was hanging around had so many laughs in the Boushey company, but Norma never made me laugh, instead her meek, non-pretencious (?) personality had a way of giving one the feeling of a reality check. Thank God, as Joe was always off on some other avenue--joking with whom ever. What fun people. We will all miss the Bousheys, and certainly Norma. She could do no wrong, or speak unkind. Just a special person. I'm sure our Lord saw her that way. So sorry. Larry Thorp

I am so sorry about the passing of your mom. What a wonderful woman, I knew her from her first year at Sumner High School and as FHA President. I loved her so much.

As our neighbor she was so giving and seemed to understand our mom very well. She loved the biscotti she would bring over and thoroughly enjoyed the many visits at both homes.

My prayers and sympathy go out to the whole family as well as to Frank.
Love, Patty Slettvet Fleming
