I remember you as a loving Dad. I would love to hear you sign. Car drives with you singing and my arms wrapped around you from the back seat. Smokey Mountain, You are my Sunshine and The Old Master Painter were my favorites. You had a wonderful voice. I often compare you to Elvis. Yes, you were that good.
I miss you and your advise. I miss counting on you to be there for me. I miss so much about you. I prayed so hard for you when you were sick. You were a good patient. I couldn't believe how hard you would work to try and walk again.
I will love you forever.
Oh, Richard gave his son your middle name, Lynn. He loved you very much too.
Your only daughter,
Carol

Dad, I was looking for information on your Mom and this popped up. If you only knew how much I missed you. But I will never forget you telling me not to cry and that you had a wonderful life filled with people who loved you. I miss your wisdom and advice. Never stepping too far but just enough to make me think. I miss your songs and wonderful voice. I miss your hugs and kisses. You were the best Dad I could have ever had and I truly miss you.

To the whole Heseltine family,
I'm so sorry to hear about Bud's passing. I understand what your family is going through, having lost both of my parents this last year.I remember going to your house rather frequently growing up and seeing Bud sitting in his chair watching TV with the cat on his lap. I also remember having my first small airplane ride in the Musketeer with Bud and Rick going to Abbottford Airshow in B.C. I was hooked, because I then got my private pilots license not long after. I really enjoyed flying around with Bud and Pat in your 185. Thanks for all the great memories, Bud!

Two Boxes
God's Boxes
I have in my hands two boxes,
Which God gave me to hold.
He said, "Put all your sorrows in the black box,
And all your joys in the gold."
I heeded His words, and in the two boxes,
Both my joys and sorrows I stored,
But though the gold became heavier each day,
The black was as light as before.
With curiosity, I opened the black,
I wanted to find out why,
And I saw, in the base of the box, a hole,
Which my sorrows had fallen out by.
I showed the hole to God, and mused,
"I wonder where my sorrows could be!"
He smiled a gentle smile and said,
"My child, they're all here with me.."
I asked God, why He gave me the boxes,
Why the gold and the black with the hole?
"My child, the gold is for you to count your blessings,
The black is for you to let go."

I just read Buds obit. and was very touched by what kind of person he was , I wish i could have met him. My name is Terri Jo Williams (Clough). My grandparents were Lorna & Jim Clough. I started my family tree this year and my Aunt Gerri told me to get in contact with Bud and Ann. Im so sorry for your loss , he sounded like a fabulous man.

Growing up with Carol, I would stop by their house and talk with Bud and Ann, they always made me feel special. Bud was such a nice man and I'll always remember that wonderful, warm smile he had. I'm so sorry for your loss. It will be nice to celebrate his life on Sunday. God Bless your family.

As a old friend and classmate of Bud's wife Ann, I have fond memories of visits at their Tacoma home. He was a wonderful fellow with a great family. Rest in peace Bud.
