Roque P.G. Cepeda familian "Cocora" Formerly of Yona, Guam was born on October 11, 1942 in Barrigada, Guam, passed away peacefully into the Lord's arms surrounded by his family on January 16, 2011 in Tacoma, Washington at the age of 68. He was preceded by his loving wife of 34 plus years, Martha E. Cepeda. Preceded by his parents, Jose M. and Agnes G. Cepeda, his in-laws, Jose B. and Natividad I. Eustaquio. He is survived by his loving children, Thelma & Daniel Hiestand of CA, Geraldine & Camilla Kono of WA, Dylan & Ann Cepeda of WA, Lisa & Eric Lein of WA, Raelyn & Eugene Bamba of AZ, Joseph Cepeda & Jocelyn Castro of WA; his grandchildren: Brandi & Joseph Ladd, Fahlen Cruz, Steven Cruz II, Nathan Cruz, Tara & Joseph Celeste, Stephanie Cepeda, Brittany Lein, Alyssa Lein, Eric Lein Jr., Desirae Bamba, Jesse Bamba, Jayda Cepeda and great-grandchildren Mallory Ladd, Isaac Celeste, Alyssa Cruz, Blake Cruz; his sisters, brothers, and in-laws, Emiliana & Jose Gumataotao of AZ, Natividad & Francisco Cruz of Guam, Jose & Anna Cepeda of WA, Francisco & Maria Cepeda of Guam, Cecilia & Charles Combado of NV, Teresita & Jesus Lizama of Guam, Mariquita & Ralph Borja of CA, Jesusa & Ignacio Asano of Guam, Joseph G. Cepeda of FL, Catalina E. & John Duenas of Guam, Augusto I. Eustaquio of CA, Amanda E. & Juan M. Arceo of Guam, Teresita E. & Manuel T. Munoz of Guam, Franklin E. & Mamie S. Hilton of Guam, and many aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces. Roque retired from the U.S. Army as a First Sergeant serving 23 yrs then retiring from the U.S. Postal Service as Letter Carrier serving 23 years. He was a man dedicated to the Lord, his family, and many, many good friends. He was a man who valued quality time with his children and family, and instilled these wonderful qualities in all his children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. A father who his children could call on anytime of day for guidance and love. A friend who could always bring a smile and a helping hand to anyone who was in need. A beautiful, loving person who will be terribly missed but never forgotten as he will live always in our hearts and wonderful memories. Papa, you will be missed greatly. "Don't worry, Dad, you were on time." Viewing will be held on Saturday, January 22nd at Our Lady Queen of Heaven from 9am to 2:30pm with Rosary being said at noon. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 24th at Our Lady Queen of Heaven. Rosary at 10:30am, Mass at 11am with reception to follow.
