ROSE BARTLETT

Rose Marie Bartlett Passed at Tacoma General Hospital on Feb. 13, 2011 at 4:30pm. One of 2 daughters of John Benedet and Ann Caron, Rose was born on Nov. 16, 1928 in Wallace, ID. After high school she married Paul Bartlett in 1946. Shortly after their divorce, she moved to Tacoma in 1957 and married John Brawner. Rose worked at the old K Street Grill, Auto Clinic, IML Freight, and Murray Disposal, where she was a bookkeeper. That she enjoyed working, and the people she worked with, until retiring at age 80 says it all. Rose loved her family, her horses, and traveling, where she visited Maryanne, her lifelong friend in Germany. She is survived by siblings Arme Burnhardt of Wallace, ID, Loretta and Lawrence Benedet of Vancouver, Canada, and Steven Kim of Seattle, children Terry Bartlett of Graham, Kevin Bartlett of Tacoma, Paula, and Tina Brawner of L.A., 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
