Shirley Williams Obituary


Shirley Ann (Peoples) Williams Today - March 26, 2011, in Billings, Montana, we said goodbye to our Mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Born March 9, 1927 in Kelly Lake, Washington, to Daniel Peoples and Eva Paterson. Shirley graduated from Buckley High School in Buckley, Washington and spent many years in the Sumner area. Shirley was an artist who loved to paint and in later years was very productive with many creations to her credit. She was preceded in death by husband, Willis (Bill) Marvin Williams, both parents, son, Jesse Lee Williams, daughter, Susan Edith Williams, and grandson, Brandon Dean Williams. Shirley is survived by sons Willis Daniel (Mae), Walter Dean (Dan), Thomas Clark (Terry)and Martin Keith (Cathy), grandchildren, Juanita (Victor), Bonnie, Denise (Victor), Dawn (Rich), Vanessa (Brian), Marvin (Becky), Tex, Stephanie (Shiloh), Jennifer, Jessy, Austin, Brandy, Jordan (Sarah), Chad (Jill), Cailyn (Dan), Jean (Travis), 33 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; also, devoted sisters: Janis Mower and Marilyn (Walt) Broxson. She also has many nephews and nieces that she truly loved and cherished. A Memorial service will be held at the Hill Funeral Home in Puyallup, Washington Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 11:00. If you wish to make a memorial donation, please make them to an Alzheimer's Foundation of your choice.

I remember going to your house with my folks (Walt and Shirley Colburn) and hearing the sounds of laughter from our Moms. They were always joking around and having fun.
