Virginia Minnes Obituary

Virginia "Ginny" Lynn Minnes Ginny was born on September 11, 1953 to Keith and Phyllis Angerman. She was the second of four children, after Sandy and followed by Keith and Nancy. She married Jack Minnes in 1976 and had two daughters, Kristin Mellick (son-in-law Scott) and Julie Minnes (son-in-law Paul). Her two grandsons, Wyatt and Cody Mellick, adored their "Mama Ginny." Ginny passed away in Puyallup on May 14, 2011 due to complications in her cancer treatment. As in life, her loving family was by her side. A strong woman, Ginny left an indelible mark on every life she touched. She will be dearly missed. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 28th at 11am at the Puyallup Foursquare Church. Food and refreshments will be available after the service. To see pictures and read more about Ginny, please visit www.powersfuneralhome.com.
