Agnes Faye Wallace Long CASTLEWOOD, Va. Agnes Faye Wallace Long, age 70, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at her home. Born August 30, 1940, in Russell County, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Wallace and the late Blanche Statzer Wallace. Agnes was a member of the Adams Chapel Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Wallace. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, C. A. Long Jr.; three daughters, Susie Mc Reynolds and husband Thad, Castlewood, Debbie Vance and husband Greg, Cleveland, and Michelle Breeding and husband Scott, Erwin, Tenn.; two sons, Calvin Long, and Johnny Long and wife Missy, all of Castlewood; eight grandchildren, Jason Breeding and wife Amberlea, Derrick Vance and wife Amy, Travis Vance, Alyson Long, Tyler Breeding, Zack Breeding, Amber Long, and Hunter Hileman; a step-granddaughter, Kelly and husband Kevin Salyers; two great-grandchildren, Loki Vance, and Kaleigh Vance; three step-great-grandchildren, Matt Amburgey, Cody Amburgey, and Alexis Baker; sister, Phyllis Artrip, Cleveland; two brothers, Eddie Wallace and wife Sue, Rosedale, and Noah Wallace, Marion, sister-in-law, Grace Boggs, Clintwood. Also several nieces, nephews and many, many friends. The funeral service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, in the Combs Funeral Service chapel with the Rev. Bill Reynolds and Larry Smith officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, in the White Family Cemetery, Coal Tipple Hollow, Lebanon. Those attending should meet at the funeral home by 10:30 to go in procession to the cemetery. Grandsons and family will serve as pallbearers. Sons-in-law will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Adams Chapel Church, 1827 Booker Road, Castlewood, VA 24224. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
