Helen Louise Gray LEBANON, Va. Helen Louise Gray, 70, passed away Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010. Born March 19, 1940, in Braxton County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Violet B. Jenkins, Jessee L. Hamric and Archie Jenkins. She had lived in Russell County for the passed 39 years and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Taylor; a niece, Rhonda Osborne; and a granddaughter, Brenna Remines. Survivors include: her husband, Emery Gray: one son, Jerry and Sharon Hamric, Swords Creek: four daughters, Karen Bartley and Phillip Kern, Cedar Bluff, Barbara and Eddie Kegley, Nickelsville, Ann Feilds, Lebanon, Sandra and Jerry Remines, South Boston: six grandchildren, Alicia Anderson, Michael Kegley, Keith Musick, Hayla Remines, Melanie Musick, and Melissa Musick: one great-grandchild, Alyssa Anderson; one sister, Mary and Bill Chafin, Lebanon; three brothers, Ronnie and Linda Hamric, Lebanon, Marshall and Annette Hamric, and Mike and Cheryl Hamric, all of Akron, Ohio. The funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, in the Combs Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Landon Whited officiating. Burial will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at the funeral home.
