Marion was a good, kind soul, and we were so lucky to have known her. She ended our last phone conversation recently with "we love you and your family so much." That was Marion's essence, and we will miss her very much.

Margaret and Marions Family
Not any of you will know me except Margaret. I grew up just down the road from Marion and her family. Not only were we good childhood friends but she is also my cousin. My Grand Mother was her fathers sister. We shared many many happy times together even though she was a little older than me. Please know that I loved Marion and remember what a beautiful person she was, always kind and generous. Bless you all in your time of sorrow.

To Granny - A woman of courage; A woman of great love; A woman of generosity; A woman who worked with her hands; A woman who left a legacy behind. A Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Wonderful Mentor and Friend, may her light continue to shine through her children and grand-children. May we humble ourselves to love as she loved. Memories consist of colorful ball caps, homemade apple pies, the school bus, book-mobile, planting a garden, hard work, and the best hugs and kisses a grand-child could receive. Saved by the blood of Christ, she's in heaven today, with those who have gone before her. We miss you terribly, love you from the bottom of our hearts, and thank you for touching our lives. We were blessed to call you our Granny.

When I think of Marion, I always think of how she and my mom would tell stories from the past when they got together. Some of them were pretty funny. She was a good woman and she loved her children. She was a strong woman. I hope you will find comfort in your memories and from the love and support of your family and friends.
