Randy Michael "Boomer" Richardson LEBANON, Va. Randy Michael "Boomer" Richardson, age 54, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 9, 2010, at his home, after a short battle with cancer. Born Nov. 29, 1956, he was the son of the late Elmer and Sarah Richardson. He was a former trucker with Dillon Sunbelt and Moss trucking. He was co-owner of Susan's Cleaning. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Richardson; his grandparents, Jay and Edgar Richardson and Earnest and Ginny Richardson. Survivors include his wife, Susan Bolling Richardson, Lebanon; children, Kim Sexton and Michael Richardson, Bristol, Jaime and Aaron Lane, Lebanon, Chenelle Lambert and Chris Kiser, Lebanon, Randy Damron, Bristol; grandchildren, Gwendoly Lane, Chloe Lane, Sydney Lane, Joseph Richardson, Rachel Sexton, Olivia Sexton, Eric Lambert, Christopher Kiser; sister, Rita Reynolds and husband Eddie; mother-in-law, Peggy Bolling; sisters-in-law, Debra Bush and husband Ronnie, Cherie Henderson and husband Dave, Kay Poole and husband Randy; brother-in-law, Kenny Bolling and wife Sharon; also several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Russell County Conference Center on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, after 5 p.m., with a memorial service at 6 p.m., with the Rev. Guy Hunt and the Rev. Kenny Bolling officiating. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Michael Ulrich, Kathy and Donna, Dr. Swan and Dr. Berman and the staff at Cancer Outreach for the care and compassion they showed Randy during his illness. Randy will always be remembered by his easy nature and his love for his family. In lieu of flowers, you may send a donation to the local animal shelter; or the Cancer Outreach Foundation, 104 Abingdon Place, Abingdon VA, 24211 (276) 676-1860.
