Anna Lee Fletcher Vandyke VANSANT, Va. Anna Lee Fletcher Vandyke, 72 years of age, of the Dryfork section, passed away Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, at the Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Va., following a brief illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Enice Deel Fletcher. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, homemaker and attended the Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Vandyke is survived by her husband, Virgil Vandyke of Vansant. She is also survived by daughters, Lisa Vandyke, Mrfursboro, Tenn., Shelia Vandyke, Abingdon, Kim Vandyke Offield and husband, Mike, Abingdon, Leslie Vandyke Brown and husband, Dewey,Snow Camp, N.C.; sister, Karen Fletcher McClanahan and husband, Greg, Grundy, Va.; brother, Chester Fletcher, Cody, Wyo.; seven grandchildren, 2nd Lt. Jason Vandyke of the U.S. Air Force, Pensacola, Fla., Jessica Vandyke, Jeremy Vandyke, Michael Vandyke, Keisha Solis and husband, Carlos, Dana Scruggs, and Jessi Offield; two great-grandchildren, Melisa Solis, and Savannah Brown; two sisters-in-law, Olagay Fletcher and Patricia Fletcher; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, P. J. Fletcher and Donnie Fletcher . Funeral services for Anna Lee Fletcher Vandyke will be conducted Monday, Dec. 27, 2010. at 11 a.m. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Elders Jeff Dotson, Shawn Dotson, Ezra Davis Jr. and Willard Owens officiating with burial to follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, Va.. Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel after 6 p.m. Sunday with services at 7 p.m. Active pallbearers will be Mike Offield, Dewey Brown II, Jason Vandyke, Michael Vandyke, Jeremy Vandyke, Carlos Solis, Leon Vandyke, and Larry McClanahan. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Clappse, Bill Ratliff, Greg McClanahan, Ken Fletcher, Harold Cline, Auburn Ratliff, and Don Hagy.
