Dear Ronald & family,
It is still hard for us to realize BB is gone. We have so many wonderful memories of her visits with us, always full of life and stories to tell. She loved to talk about Ronald and her girls and her many activities. She will be sadly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers will be with you in the days and weeks ahead. We are so sorry we couldn`t be there for the memorial.
Love,
Barbara & Phil

To the Collins family,
I cannot express my regret at the passing of Barbara. She was my land lady for many years, but she was also, first and foremost, my friend.
I am a little sadder for her passing, but much enriched for having known her. If there is anything I can do to be of help to any of you, you have only to ask.

Dear Robert ~ my heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Even though I didn't know Barbara, I was a best friend of your sister, Joyce. We spent a lot of time together in Marion, and she often spoke of you and Steve as well as your dad. I loved Joyce and was so happy when she got married. She was well taken care of at the end of her life. Please share my thoughts with Steve. This is a hard time for you, and I will keep you in my prayers. mitzi hundley, e-mail: [email protected]

B. B. will surely be missed my the many people she touched. As an educator, friend, and lifelong student of everything, she has touched most of the people in the Norton- Wise County area whether realized or not. In addidion to her love of cooking, entertaining, volunteering, her dogs and cats, she also loved music, playing cards, telling or hearing a good joke, and generally having a good time wherever she was or with whoever she was with. B. B. will be more than missed. She will leave a void that will not soon be filled. My heart goes out to Ronald, Christy, Maurine, Ernie, Stuart and the many other immediate and extended family members. Norton will not be the same without her just being there. I will be out of town on November 6th, and am sorry I will miss her memorial. I will be there in spirit. I love the family and always will. If there is anything I can do, please feel free to call on me. I am sorry I only learned of her illness and dimise recently, as she went so fast, but I know she is looking down on us all and helping us, even though we may not know it. She was one of a kind. Lord, keep her close by your side.
With much love,
Ronnie HUBBARD

I was in the Norton City schools with Barbara from the first grade through her junior year. Barbara's dad was our family doctor and a good friend as well.Even as a child, she was always a friendly, kind person. I last saw her at our 50th high school reunion just this past June. Barbara, you will be missed. My condolences to the family.

We were so sorry to learn of Barbara's illness and death. I knew her as a young girl in Norton. She went to the John I. Burton Senior Prom with my brother, John Heuser. Our sympathy goes out to the family. We know she will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
