Bernice Mullins

Bernice W. Mullins SALTVILLE, Va. Bernice W. Mullins, age 53, joined the angels in flight to Heaven after a long battle with cancer on May 22, 2010. She fought a good fight, finished her course and kept the faith. Bernice was preceded in death by her father, Calip Wallace. Survivors: her husband, James Mullins; son, James Jr. Mullins; daughters, Kelsie Jones and Deloris Mullins of the home; grandchildren are Bryan Mullins, Serena Jones, Michael Mullins and Jonah Rhea; mother, Anna Mae Woods of Haysi, Va.; sister, Deloris McClanahan of Haysi; half-brothers, Darin and Scottie Wallace of Haysi. Funeral services for Bernice W. Mullins will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday evening, May 24, 2010, at the D.R. Henderson Funeral Home with the Rev. James Gentry officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until time of service. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 Tuesday afternoon at the Mullins family cemetery, with everyone being asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:30.
