Betty Huff Ferrell CASTLEWOOD, Va. Betty Huff Ferrell, 76, died Sunday, June 20, 2010, at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Va. She was born in Russell County, Va., daughter of the late Vonder and Amie Hager Huff. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tomie D. Ferrell. She is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Smith and husband, Stanley of Bristol Virginia; two sons, Tim Ferrell of Castlewood, and Ronald Ferrell and wife, Gale of Wise, Va.; two sisters, Hazel Starr of Blue Mound, Texas, and Louise Barlow of Sparta, Tenn.; two brothers, Everette Huff of Bristol Virginia, and Eulis Huff of Roscoe, Ill.; four grandchildren, Brad Ferrell, Aaron Ferrell, Dustin Ferrell, and Daniel Ferrell; four great-grandchildren, Bradley Ferrell, Dylan Chafin, Daniel Robert Ferrell, and Zachary Lee Ferrell; two special friends, Sue Woods and Lottie Hurd; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Betty Huff Ferrell will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2010, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, with Pastor Jim Smith officiating. Committal services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010, in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Dustin Ferrell, Aaron Ferrell, Daniel Ferrell, Tim Long, Jerrard Vance, and Justin Tipton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2010, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood. Online condolences may be sent to the Ferrell family through our Web site and a video tribute may be viewed at www.castlewoodfuneralhome.com Castlewood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
