Betty Ann Miles Ms. Betty Ann Miles, 50, Johnson City, unexpectedly passed away at her residence on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010. She was the daughter of Dean Miles and Mildred O. Miller Miles. She was of the Catholic Faith. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Gabrielle Miles Smith; Johnson City; a son, Robert Hyder; Johnson City; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Keith and Cindy Miles, Nashville; Steven and Angela Miles, Johnson City; a sister and brother-in-law, Marcia and Rick Buckles, Piney Flats; a niece Emily Wall, and four nephews, Zachary Miles, Cody Miles, Michael Buckles and his fianc‚e, Hanna Simpson and Matthew and Nicole Buckles. A memorial service for Ms. Miles will be conducted on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at 7 p.m. in the Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, Elizabethton with Fr. Anietie Akata officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5 - 7 p.m. prior to the service. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to ASPCA of Washington County, 525 Sells Avenue, Johnson City, TN 37604.
