Billy King Blaylock BRISTOL, Tenn. Billy King Blaylock, age 78, passed away on Nov. 13, 2009, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born in Bristol a son to the late Farris Oliver and Georgia Mae Harkleroad Blaylock. Mr. Blaylock was self-employed and returned to Bristol in 2000, after living in Baltimore, Md. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Mr. Blaylock was a United States Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Geraldine Bellamy Blaylock; a daughter, Teresa Brown; a grandson, Ben Brown; and three brothers and four sisters. Survivors include loving companion and caretaker, Shirley Ann Clements "Sap phire"; sons, Billy King Blaylock Jr., Bobby Farris Blaylock, and Wayne Anthony Colvin; daughter, Marylin Margo Oxendine and husband Marvin; brothers, Lyle Blaylock, Allen Blaylock, Howard Blaylock, Dan Blaylock and Harry Blaylock; sisters, Gladys Carter and Shirley Gray; 14 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at 2 p.m. in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Baltimore Md. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5-7 p.m. at Weaver Funeral Home. Online condolences may be registered at www.Weaverfuneralhome.net. Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home.
