Dear Aunt Mary Nell and Susan,
I will always remember Uncle Charlie with a smile. He was one of the nicest men I've ever known, a true "Virginia gentleman." I was privileged to read his book on his WWII experience and came away admiring the man even more. I always looked forward to seeing him at our family reunions and spending time together. He will be missed. Love, Rex

Mrs. Harris and Susan,
Your husband and father was one of the nicest gentleman I knew. I enjoyed being around your family growing up. Mr. Charles will be missed. He left a lasting impression on those who knew him. May you feel God's presence during this time. You both are in my thoughts and prayers. Janet Basset Clark

Mary Nell. I am so sorry to learn of Charlie's death as he was a special friend over the years. We worked together at Sperry and we knew each other as children. Margaret and I are so glad that we had a short visit with you both in early August.
