Chester Michael "Mike" Robinson Chester Michael "Mike" Robinson, age 66 of Halls Crossroads, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Friday, Jan. 8, 2010, but won his Victory in Jesus (his favorite hymn). Preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Daisy Robinson; half-brothers, John and Reagan Keller. Survived by his loving wife and soul-mate of 31 years, Beverly; devoted sister-in-law, Barbara Smith; sister-in-law, Dorothy Hogan and husband, Larry; half-sister, Alethia Ferguson and husband, Kinnie; half-brothers, Fred Keller and wife, Ruth, Gene Keller and wife, Opal; special niece, Lisa Ferguson; and another niece and numerous nephews. Mike and Beverly were blessed with loving and supportive friends, neighbors, and a superb church family at Corryton Baptist Church. Mike will be remembered by former co-workers at Watson's, Sofas and More, and Knoxville Wholesale Furniture for his upbeat attitude, his beautiful smile, and wonderful laugh. He honorably served his country in the U. S. Air Force. Mike was a fine Christian man with a gentle spirit and giving heart. He loved God and his favorite question was: "Do you know my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?" Honorary pallbearers are Ron Satterfield, Junior Loy, Greg Peterson, Tom Joyce, Jerry Jones, and Rich Crist. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 11, at Corryton Baptist Church, 7615 Foster Road, followed by a celebration of life service at 7 p.m. with Dr. Rocky Ramsey officiating. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, at Pleasant Forest Cemetery on Concord Road, for graveside services. I just learned today, January 18, of Mike's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I'm sure that Mike and Sam are having a wonderful time in heaven talking about their high school days.

Beverly, I was really saddened to hear of Mike's battle being over he was such a fighter. I can just see his smiling face and healed body now. Mike was such a up beat wonderful man and full of laughs and proud of his faith in the Lord and not ashamed to tell anyone of his faith. He will be missed by many and never forgotten, your in my thoughts and prayers.

Bev, we are very sorry about the passing of Mike. You two were as close as any two I know. I know you will miss him very much. I have ony good memories of you both.
