Deborah Carol Castle CASTLEWOOD, Va. Deborah Carol Castle passed away on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at her home. She was born in Russell County, Va., daughter of the late Henry Cecil Helbert. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Bernard Swanson Castle; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffery Castle and wife, Amanda, of Castlewood, and Kevin Castle and wife, Rebecca, of Kingsport, Tenn.; her mother, Lora Helbert of Castlewood; two brothers, John Helbert and wife, Penny, of Castlewood, and Mike Helbert and wife, Jennifer, of Lebanon, Va.; one sister, Pam Ireson of St. Paul, Va.; four grandchildren, Candace Castle and Alyssa Castle of Castlewood, Kacie Castle and Nathaniel Castle of Kingsport; one sister-in-law, Iva Salyer of Castlewood; several nieces, nephews and many cherished friends. Funeral services for Deborah Carol Castle will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, in the Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, with Rev. Leonard Ferguson officiating. Committal services and interment will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Alex Baker, Brice Baker, Bill White, Larry Dean, and Ronnie Baker. Honorary pallbearers will be Zach Ireson, Aaron Helbert, Chris Helbert, Bobby Dorton, and Warren Baker. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, or anytime at the home of Iva Salyer, 3679 Highpoint Road, Castlewood, VA. Online condolences may be sent to the Castle family and a video tribute may be viewed through our Web site at www.castlewoodfuneralhome.com Castlewood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
