Elizabeth Walls Sword STANLEY, N.C. Elizabeth "Mickie" Walls Sword, born Oct. 8, 1944, died July 6, 2010, in the Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia, N.C. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Walls Sr.; brother, Robert E. Walls Jr.; sister, Ida "Sis" Johnson and husband Jerry Boyd Sword. Survivors: her children, Clay Allison of Meadowview, Va., Carmen Allison Dinsmore of Stanley, Jennifer Dee Allison of Winston-Salem, N.C., Jeffery Lee Allison of Stanley, Sonjia Allison Burroughs of Stanley; mother, June Walls Hunt of Saltville, Va.; brother, Billy Loman Walls of Onalaska, Texas; grandchildren, Misty Kestner, Ashley Grier, Danielle Compton, Hannah Allison, Cheryl Maner, Kevin Babcock, Dekota Allison, Logan Allison, Dallas Allison, Coby Allison; great- grandchildren, Macayla Kestner, Justice Kestner, Zachary Kestner, Evan Maner, Kalyn Maner, Keely Compton. Funeral services for Elizabeth Sword will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010, in the D.R. Henderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenny Gilbert officiating.
