Ella Mae Sutter ABINGDON, Va. Ella Mae Sutter, 78, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010, in Valley Health Care in Chilhowie, Va. She was born in Washington County, Va., and was a daughter of the late Henry Watson and Molly Fields Terry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Granville Sutter; sisters, Emma Mink, Virginia Snead, Ethel Smith and Martha Smart; and brothers, Kenneth and Henry Terry. Survivors are sisters, Mary Chilton and Helen Davidson both of Abingdon; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Terry and Janet Terry; brothers-in-law, Russell Smith and Henry Smart; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2010, in Roselawn Cemetery in Marion, Va., with Jerry Fritz officiating. Interment will follow. Nieces and Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to go in procession to the cemetery are asked to assemble at Farris Funeral Service by 1 p.m. Sunday. We are so sorry to hear of Ella Mae's passing. She was a wonderful lady. She sat close to us at Sinking Spring Pres. church. We have tried to stay in touch with her since her last surgery. We will miss her but look forward to seeing her in heaven. Our prayers and thoughts will be with her family. Fondly, Al and Gail Proffitt
