Dear Dixie and the family,
Oh, how I love you and I loved Frank. He was such a blessing to me when he and Dixie and I were at Coeburn UMC. In later years, we enjoyed the occasional meeting at conference or in other places, with fond memories of the impact he had on my life and my faith development. I knew your children at Emory & Henry before I met you, and Beth and Briggs are special friends from those days. Much love to all of you. I wish I had visited at JC Med Center when I first heard of the stroke.

Many years ago I had the pleasure of working with Rev. Bauman at Birdmont in Wytheville. I will always remember his sweet smile any time you saw him. He had a way of always reminding you of the good things in the world. He will be missed.

Dear Baumans: I remember you all! I am so sorry for your loss, but I commend Frank with this: he always met me where I was. If he wanted to talk to me, I usually made him accompany me to the barn! His kindness and compassion still stand out. Thank you and thank him.
