His 90-year life ended peacefully on Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at Claypool Hill, Va. His positive attitude during his life stood as a testament to the strength of his character. Surviving to carry on his love, loyalty, and passion for life, are: son, Frank Turyn Jr.; and grandson, Danny J. Turyn from Michigan; daughter, Jacqueline Turyn Smith and husband, Ed from Wardell, Va.; granddaughters, Bethanie Robinett and husband, Charles and their children, Nicholas and Nathan from Newport, N.C., Shawna Justus and husband, Jeff and their children, J.K. and Zara from Springville, Va.; two brothers, John Turyn II of Claypool Hill, Va., Victor Turyn and wife, Eileen of Ellicott City, Md.; sister-In- law, Mary Ann Turyn from The Villages, Fla.; special brother-in-law, John Riggs Sr. and wife, Barbara of Williamsburg, W.Va.; many nieces and nephews whom he adored, many friends, and a lifelong friend, Danny Dahill, and the Legacy Hospice staff and the staff of Golden Age Retirement Home that loved him.
