Georgia F. Jones NORTON, Va. Georgia F. Jones, 92, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at Heritage Hall in Big Stone Gap, Va. Affectionately known as "Nannie" by all those who knew and loved her, she was a lifelong member of the Apostolic Faith Church in Norton. She loved to visit other churches and to have people visit with her. She was a nurturer of her family, her friends, her dogs, and family activities were her greatest joy. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 70 years, Wayne A. Jones; and infant son, Allen Ray Jones; her parents, Bill Eller and Maggie Eller Adams; her brothers, Herman Eller, James Eller and Arthur Adams; and a sister, Geneva Eller. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Nancy Jones, Duffield, Va.; her granddaughters and their husbands, Gena and Bill Prince, Bristol Tennessee, and Beverly and Matt McGee, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; her great-grandchildren, Will Prince, serving in the U.S. Air Force in Las Vegas, Andrew Prince, a student at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va., and Erin Nolin, a student at MTSU, Murfreesboro; a sister, Agnes Eller McDonald, Lusby, Md.; several beloved nieces and nephews; and a devoted caretaker and niece, Jan Eller Collier. The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home in Norton. Funeral services were conducted 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Family and friends will gather Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, to travel in procession to Laurel Grove Cemetery for committal and burial. The family wishes to extend their appreciation and blessings to the caregivers at Heritage Hall Health Care in Big Stone Gap. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.hagyfawbush.com
