Harry Ryburn Obituary

TULSA, Okla. – Harry Edward Ryburn, 83, formerly of Glade Spring, Va., passed away in Tulsa.
Harry was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He worked for the Texaco Co. for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carter W. Ryburn and Leta Dunn Ryburn, and his brothers, Douglas A. Ryburn and Ralph D. Ryburn.
Survivors include a brother, Jack Ryburn and wife June, Abingdon, Va.; a sister, Carolyn Ryburn, Glade Spring; sisters-in-law, Janet Ryburn, Dearborn Heights, Mich., and Janet Ryburn, Roanoke, Va.; nieces, Careen Meadows and husband Greg, Shareen Stone and husband Tim, Joyce Taylor and husband Gary, Wendy Mark and husband Walter and Sheryl Ryburn; nephews, David Ryburn and wife Sharon, Matt Ryburn and wife Faith and Corrie Ryburn; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A service will be conducted Friday, June 19, 2009, at 3 p.m. in the Mount Rose Cemetery, with the Rev. Timothy Bird officiating. Interment will follow. There will be no visitation in the funeral home. Those attending are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 2:55 p.m.
