Helen Lyons Corvin MARION, Va. Helen Lyons Corvin, age 73, died Tuesday, Nov.16, 2010, at Smyth County Community Hospital. Mrs. Corvin was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Lyons; second husband, James Martin Corvin; and son, Dewey Leon Lyons. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary Lyons Hawthorne of Rural Retreat, Va., and Ella Lyons Wingate and husband, Chris of Sugar Grove, Va.; one son and daughter-in-law, Raymond S. Lyons Jr. and Vanessa of Sugar Grove, Va.; one step-daughter, Sheri Morin of Ogden, Utah; one stepson, Jimmy Corvin of Ogden, Utah; one brother-in-law, Homer Corvin of California; one sister-in-law, Reba Kirby of Speedwell, Va.; five grandchildren, Ashley Lynn Hall, Sheri Ann Heldreth, Crystal Ann Lyons, Tifani Doane, and Dustin Stamper; 10 great-grandchildren, Nova Leigh-Ann Heldreth, Kylie Paige Romans, Bly Stillwell, Silas Lyons, Ivy-Lee Heldreth, Andrew Silas Hall, Gage Stamper, Liam Stamper, Serenity Murphy and Eli Taylor; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at 8 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Roger Crigger officiating. Private burial will be held Friday in Wassum Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 p.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
