Inez Dotson Wright LEBANON, Va. Inez Dotson Wright, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010. Inez was born on Aug. 13, 1926, in Pound, Va., to the late Rufus and Cora Phipps Dotson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Ruth Dotson; three sisters, Letha D. Fleming, Violet Gates, Ruble Dotson; and half-brother, Roger Dotson. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Emory W. Wright, Lebanon; two sons, Michael D. Wright and wife Diane, Lebanon and Jan A. Wright and wife Marie, Abingdon, Va.; two grandsons, Joshua Wright and wife Lena, Abingdon and Jacob Wright and wife Lisalyn, Abingdon; two granddaughters, Eliza Wright, Lebanon and Meghan Wright, Banner Elk, N.C.; two precious great- grandchildren, Peyton and Bailey Wright; special friend and caregiver, Thelma Walters, Lebanon; two sisters, Emma J. Bukuls, Baltimore and Bobbie Roberts, Abingdon; half-brothers, James Dotson, Franklin Dotson, and Larry Dotson; and also several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, prior to the service at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Tom Edwards officiating. A committal service and entombment will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, in the Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Those attending are requested to meet at the funeral home by 1:30 p.m. to go in procession to the mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Eddie Rainey, Jack Rutter, A.G. Griffith Jr., Ron Barrett, Don Adams, Charles Dickenson, Dick O'Neil and Earl Workman.
