Irene Ratliff Rose Irene Ratliff Rose, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 21, 2010, and was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County Caney Ridge. She was a Member of Concord United Baptist Church in Paintsville, Ky. She was a loving mother and dedicated wife. She was preceded in death by Parents Ralph and Alta Ratliff; husband of 56 years, Donald W. Rose; one infant son; one brother, Ralph Junior Ratliff; sister, Betty Large; son-in-law, J. L. Browning. Survivors; two daughters, Rebecca "Beckie" Browning, Clintwood, Va., Connie (Emory) Browning, Clintwood, Va.; brothers and sisters, Joyce Wallen, Clintwood, Va., Willie (Bill) Ratliff, Coeburn, Va., Edna (Benny) Vanover; brother-In-law, Gerald Large, Clintwood, Va., John Rose, Mansfield, Ohio, James and Pat Rose , Bangor, Mich., Joseph Rose, Coeburn, Va.; sister-In-law, Lillian Ratliff; three grandchildren, Robin (Scott) Hall, Timothy (Tim) and wife Brandi Browning, April (David) Fleming; three great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Faith, Gavin Tate Browning, Lily Anna Fleming; several loving nieces and nephews, and a host of friends are left behind to grieve her loss. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
