Although it had been years since I saw Ivan I will never ever forget the cute little blonde boy with the sweet face who I started the first grade at Emmett School with. He was my school mate and my friend and I will never forget him. Condolences to the family.

Semper Fi. My prayers go out for your loss. I too am 59 and most likely served around the same time in the Corps. Cancer is such a terrible disease and pray that Ivan found peace.

Dear Alvin, Liz, Sandy, & Karen,
I am praying for you all. It goes without saying what a special friendship that Ivan and I shared for so many years. I loved him dearly. I recieve this news with much sadness, but I also have a sense of peace knowing that he had recieved Chist Jesus as his saviour. I am recuperating from surgery and cannot be there. My thoughts will be very present as you lay to rest a very special man. May God give you all that peace that surpasses all understanding.
