Jacqueline Kelling Kozsuch JOHNS CREEK, Ga. Jacqueline Kelling Kozsuch, 49, passed away unexpectedly Nov. 12, at Northside Hospital, Atlanta. Jacqui was born Oct. 26, 1961, and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating high school, she attended Evangel College in Springfield, Mo., where she graduated in 1983, magna cum laude in communications. Jacqui started her career as a television reporter and anchor for WCYB-TV 5 in Bristol Virginia in 1984 where she met and married her husband, Sandhi. During their 24 years together they lived in Richmond, Va., Charlotte N.C., Princeton Junction, N.J., and Johns Creek. Jacqui spent most of her career as an association, fund raising, and public relations professional, during which she worked for Muscular Dystrophy Association, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Virginia Retail Merchants Association and New Jersey Hospital Association. Most recently, Jacqui served as public relations director for Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Ga. Jacqui, an avid fitness and tennis buff, played in the ALTA and USTA Leagues and participated in 5k marathons with her daughter, Hannah. She was also an active member of the Falls Tennis Club and a frequent volunteer at her children's schools. Jacqui had numerous affiliations and awards for her volunteer work with foster children, Habitat for Humanity, and crisis ministry. She had recently returned from Haiti with her son, Neal, having assisted in the aftermath of the earthquake. Jacqui is survived by her husband, Sandhi; daughter and son, Hannah and Neal; father and mother, Anthony and Ann Kelling of Cleveland, Ohio; sister, Catherine Janke; and brother, Michael Kelling from Cleveland, Ohio; numerous friends; and extended family members. Jacqui was preceded in death by her sister, Sandy Westermeier of Princeton, N.J. Daughter, wife, mother, community activist, Jacqui will surely be missed. A memorial service was held at 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15, at Crowell Brothers Funeral Home, 5051 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Norcross, GA.
