Sue, Suzanne, and Jillian I am so sorry for your lost. I just found out on Wednesday at 4:30 PM of Jackie's death. I have many fond memories of her from when I worked with her at the Extension Office. (She did not like computers back then and said she would retire before she would learn to use one). Every time I see an IBM Selective typewriter I think of her. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family during this sadden time. If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.

i AM SO SORRY TO LEARN OF JACKIES'S DEATH. ONE OF THE HARDEST DAYS OF MY LIFE WAS WHEN I HAD TO HELP BURY RICK. HE WAS ALMOST LIKE A BROTHER TO ME. LOSING HER ALSO GRIEVES ME. I CAN REMEMBER A DAY THAT SHE CAME TO THE POLLS AND I WAS STANDING THERE CAMPAINGNING FOR MY SUPERVISORS POSITION. SHE CAME WITH WALTER AND HIS WIFE AND WHEN SHE GOT OUT OF THE CAR SHE WAS LAUGHING SO HARD THAT SHE WAS ALMOST IN TEARS. I ASKED HER WHAT WAS SO FUNNY AND SHE REPLIED THAT SHE WAS TELLING WALTER AND HIS WIFE THAT "LOOK AT THAT BOBBY INGLE STNADING THERE. HE LOOKS SO GOOD THAT I WANT HIM TO BE A PALLBEARER AT MY FUNERAL WHEN I DIE". I'VE NEVER FORGOTTEN THOSE WORDS SO TOMORROW I HAVE BEEN HONORED ENOUGH TO BE ASKED TO DO JUST THAT. WE WILL MISS HER.

I have a lot of wonderful memories of good times at her home when "Fuzzy" and I were running mates during our high school and college years. I loved her like a second mother and for many years she certainly was that and more.
