James Vernon Hall MARION, Va. James Vernon Hall, age 81, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday Jan. 6, 2010. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his father, Robert Vaughn Hall and his mother and stepfather, Mary Church Hall and Vernon S. Hall. He was also preceded in death by a son, James Dennis Hall; three sisters, Stella Robinson, Elsie Rose and Louise Wyatt; one brother, Fields Hall; three brothers-in-law, Willard Conghdon, Vance Cornett, and Herbert Riggle. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 62 years, Evelyn R. Hall; two sons, Larry Hall and wife Debbie, Marion, Shannon Hall and wife Sondra, Marion; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Chester Hall, Mickey Hall, Jerry Hall, Preston Hall; two sisters, Barbara Taylor and husband Charles, Martha Largen; brother-in-law, Raleigh Wyatt; sister-in-law, Ruth Riggle; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with Rev. Benny Frye and Rev. R.L. Reynolds Frye officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 - 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
