James Charlie Hall CASTLEWOOD, Va. James Charlie Hall, 51, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at Nickelsville, Va. He was born in Lebanon, Va., son of the late Charlie P. Hall. He was preceded in death by an infant son; a grandson, James Branson Hall; and one sister, Brenda Sue Dotson. He is survived by one son, Shannon E. Hall of Castlewood; mother, Edith Hall of Castlewood; three sisters, Helen Herndon and husband, Kenneth of Castlewood, Phyllis Hicks and husband, James of Castlewood, and Patty Long and husband, Frank of Loganville, Ga.; three brothers, Tommy Hall and wife, Debbie of Castlewood, Bobby Hall and wife, Missy of Castlewood, and Gene Hall and wife, Wanda of Lilburn, Ga.; four step-grandchildren, Reece, Jessee, Jackie, and Christian; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for James Charlie Hall will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, with Rev. Eugene Burke and Rev. Darryl Baker officiating. Committal services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, in Meade - Cooper Cemetery, Castlewood. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Pallbearers will be John Michael Salyer, T.J. Hall, Mark Austin, Michael Austin, Steve Dotson, Jeff Baker, and Darrell Hicks. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood.
