I am so sorry to hear of the passing of this great man. He was a very sweet man and loved to sing his karaoke at the VFW. He will be greatly missed!

My sympathy to Bill's friends and family. I haven't seen him in many years but will always remember the good looking sailor who came to visit us in Abingdon whenever he was home. He honored us with his visits and was always a welcome guest at our table. The Myrtle and Akers Roark family.

James, Charlotte, and others, I want to express my sympathy for your loss. I was married to Ron Gardner, Bill's nephew for a few years until Ron died. I am now living in Montana and will not be able to attend the funeral, but will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
