Hard to believe it has been 10 years now. I still miss you everyday and wish that as a child I would have been better. The world and our country has changed for the worse so much since you left this earthly realm but you are in a much better place than we are. Love you and miss you mom!!

It has been 9 years since you left this world to go be with our Father in heaven. I still miss you so very much and wish you were still here so that I could talk with and visit you when I come home. It is no longer the same coming home anymore since both you and Dad are no longer here. I love you and we will see each other again.

It's the holidays and I miss you so very much. Sometimes I laugh with joy as I think of you and times we spent together. Other times I find myself feeling deep sadness and crying when I remember I won't see you this Christmas.

I couldn't even count all the nights I spent at your house. Crochet, Monopoly, Life, Rummy (no 3 of a kind except Aces, Around the Corner). All these things are forever intertwined with you in my mind.

I'll never stop missing you my dear, beloved Aunt Janice.

While a person's illness should never define that person; the way that person handles the illness and challenge, surely defines their strength. I only hope I can handle my future challenges with the grace, humor and positivity Janice showed over the years. I have great respect for her attitude and the way she approached life. Although my contact with her was sporadic over the last 10 years, she always made a very large impact and I always walked away with more gratitude for what I have and more respect for her. Her presence will be missed but hopeully all of us will honor her by trying to emulate those wonderful characteristics she showed us every day.

James, Marisa, Boys and Family, I am so sorry to hear that Janice has passed on. I know that the coming days will be hard. I miss my daddy so much. The joy that we all can share in a time like this is that one day, and it may be soon, we will be rejoicing in Heaven with them. I am sorry that I don't know about this sooner. If you need anything, day or night, please let me know and I will be there. I love you all. Mike, Mattie and Emily Feathers

To my beloved mother - I try not to be selfish in wanting you here with us, but yet I find myself struggling to understand why God called you home so early. I guess he needed you home in His presence more than we needed you here. There is a peace over me now knowing you suffer no more and that your sickness is no longer existent because you have now passed from this earthly world into the "New Grace" of God. However, I do find myself lost not knowing what to say or what to do and I know I will miss you dearly; no one could ask for a better mother than you. I love you so much! I know you will check in on us from time to time and will always be remember in our hearts. I dare not say goodbye or so long but rather I will see you again one day when we all rejoice in the presence of the Lord almighty.

How to find light and gladness to warm the heart at a time like this is from all the strength, love and comfort of all the friends and family. With this, even in the deepest sorrow, we find a safe, warm, well lit place to shelter in while we face our grief at such a profound loss.
Even as the Earth has diminished some from her passing, the next world is all the brighter for her being there.
