May God Bring Peace and Comfort during the days ahead. Memories will never leave, go there often, It helps heal the heart. I have memories of so many times when we were children playing at your Aunt Mandy's House(my Grandmother)
in the Valley! What fun we all had. Not being around Johnny in his life work, but reading all the kind words, I know he was a great husband, father, brother and teacher. The impact he had on so many is so vivid, especially the lives of children will live on forever. My prayers are with you! Love you, Cousin Brenda

Joann and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this tragic time. I'd known John's family most of my life, and he and I were classmates at Patrick Henry. I saw John at the "Big M" a few years back and he came running over to say "hello". That will always be how I will remember him---laughing and talking about the good old days.

We are so sadden by the passing of John. He was such a great friend to us and was always such a joy to be around. The past few years of going to the area Parades will always be how we remember him best. The joy that he always brought to the faces of not just the young but the old too. No one can fill those big ole clown shoes. We loved him dearly. The community has lost a good one.
