Judy Carol Crewey Poe SEVEN MILE FORD, Va. Judy Carol Crewey Poe, age 62, went home to be with her Lord on Friday June 11, 2010, at her home after a long battle with COPD. She was born in Smyth County, Va. on Aug. 17, 1947. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Crewey; a nephew, Howard "Howie" Lee; and her step-father, Wallace H. Cregger Jr. She was a member of Chilhowie Baptist Church and was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ronald Dean Poe Sr.; three children and their spouses, Kim Ellison and husband, Marcus, Chilhowie, Va., Kristy Robinson and husband, Jeff, Chilhowie, Ronald Poe Jr. and wife, Cindi, Marion, Va.; her mother, Dorothy Dillman Cregger; two brothers, Jim Crewey and wife, Sue, Marion; Ronald Crewey and wife, Mary "Kitty," Marion; two sisters, Linda Haulsee and husband, Bobby, Marion, and Jackie Lee, Marion; her grandchildren, McKenzie Ellison, Emma Grace Ellison, Blake Robinson, Baby Robinson, Hanna Filipek, and Katy Lowe; a sister-in-law, Frances Wood, Traphill, N.C.; her faithful four-legged companion, Katie; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends also survive. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 13, 2010, at the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with Pastors Chuck Herrell, Jerry Creasy and Tim Boyette officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Middlefork Cemetery in Chilhowie.
