June Price Obituary

June Ramsey Price June Ramsey Price, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol. She lived most of her life in Kingsport. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Kingsport and she was a very accomplished vocalist. June graduated from Tusculum College. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph S. Price; her parents, H.K. and Essie O'Dell Ramsey; and her sister, Jessie Mae Ramsey. She is survived by her daughter, Mimi P. Kind and husband, Rigby of Bristol; grandchildren, Kacy Kind of Johnson City and Cami Kind of Charleston, S.C. June is further survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010, from 5 until 6 p.m. in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow with Dr. Marvin Cameron officiating. A committal service will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Oak Hill Mausoleum I. Nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Northeast Tennessee Chapter, 207 N. Boone St., Suite 1500, Johnson City, TN 37604; or Vance Middle School Library, 815 Edgemont Ave., Bristol, TN 37620. The staff of Oak Hill is honored to serve the family of June Price.
